Well this is embarrassing. I own an older model Delta tilting arbor Unisaw. Think I bought from Highlands Hardware in around 1990. I can't find the model # anywhere. I'm looking to get a Leecraft zero clearance insert. I was reading some reviews on Amazon's site. Someone mentioned that the Leecraft insert won't fit in Model 36-725 (which I think but can't be sure is my model). Anyone know where I can find the model # on or in the saw? I've lost all the paperwork in a flood?

Yeeeep.

Flashlight and dirty knees - crawl back to the most inaccessible part of the saw and look up there.

Ya gotta admire Delta in the early Chiwanese days for their consistency in "stupid" on the little things.

Ha-ha. Tomorrow, flashlight in hand I'll begin the journey.

Don't think the unisaw was built in Taiwan in the 90's. My unisaw is a 04 and it was American built. My nephew bought an older one, and he said it was built in Canada.

I believe the 725 is not yours, but the new contractors saw.

Thanks Tom. I'll be looking for a model number in an hour or so. Away from the shop. Definitely not a contractors saw. Its a 3hp (as I recall) 240 volt unit. I made the mistake of ordering one with the Unifence that Delta came out with in early 1990's All I have is the Unifence instruction manual. The catalog number for the Unifence is 34-897. Not much help I know...

This is a 36-725, definitely not a Unisaw!

Thanks Steve. No. That's not a Unisaw for sure :) Just got done talking to someone from sawcenterdotcom. They said that all right tilting Unisaws have the same size insert opening. Still, I'm gonna hunt for that Model #.
