Jim, you're killin' me over here! Still too sore to fire up the lathe to even make a lousy little bowl and you're coming up with stuff like this!!!:) Magnificent, man! It flows beautifully, the wood is outstanding, as is the finish. Great job...Keep 'em coming, Jim. Gorgeous!:)

Jim, the form is just great as is the wood. Thanks for showing it to us. I wish I had some of that box elder to work with.

Very pretty, did you post about your home made jig yet?

Was the wood green and how did you dry it?

I saw this piece in person and folks I am here to tell you that this is one magnificent piece of work. The finish is flawless with every grain of wood visible so finely sanded this is. It is light as feather. Jim, I will say again this is simply beautiful..... :) :) :)

Most all my turnings is from green wood I use Dave Smiths alky method
on all of them. It works great!;)

Thanks all for the Nice comments.

Hi Jim,

Some think the more turning one does the easer it gets. However, this is not always true. Now, the hardest part, is yet to come. Out-due the one you have just turned.

A very impressive turning.
