I suppose it might be my 'mid-liife crisis' in action, but I've decided that in addition to my Lodge and my shop, I needed something else to 'do'. I've always wanted a nice RV, but the ones I can afford have canvas sides and a lift up roof. Not too inspiring there (though I wouldnt' mind one as a fun diversion, it isn't 'enough'). So I've decided that my long term goal besides Masonic advancement and continuing happiness and tool gathering in the shop, is going to be converting a bus into a Coach. It is a LONG ways off, but I thought why not have a 'goal' in mind? At this point it is all in the planning stage, ie, barring a lottery win it isn't happening for several years yet. But, I happened upon a very cool blog about a couple who are living full time in a 4o' Neoplan Starliner. If I had their funds, and was able to find a decent Starliner, that would be THE coach for me. almost a double decker bus, with loads of style.
I am a realist, however, and their experiences have already shown that the Neoplan, while sexy, is a german design and has some technical issues that would break the bank in a hurry. SO I'll likely shop long and hard while saving up for an MCI or Prevost intercity bus.
If you've read this far, you may actually want to go look at my web-log (Blog), which can be found here: http://busquest.blogspot.com (http://busquest.blogspot.com/)

nothing fancy, and in fact very prone to rambling, but that is the essential nature of a blog, you share your thoughts and those who may be interested read them. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Very nice, Ned. I hope your future plans come together...that will be a very nice "home away from home" or "just plain home", as the case may be!

BTW, I grew up only a little way north of your Pocono vacation spot...Honesdale.
