Anyone using this saw I'm thinking about retiring my Ryobi 12" mitre saw and I'd like to get one that will hold me for quite a while before I get that this one isn't doing it feeling again.

PS: You guys are awesome, I love this forum.

I have the 5412 without the laser and think it is a wonderful saw. It has been very accurate for me. I love the up front controls and the fact that things like extension wings and a clamp come standard instead of being expensive add ons. Capacity for miters is the largest I could find (64 right and 54 left I think). I have mine bolted to a Ridgid MSUV which is a great combo. I can drop it off the truck and be set up and ready to go in less than 3 minutes and breakdown is just as fast. One feature I really like which I thought was a gimmick at first is the rotatable handle. The handle can be changed from horizontal to vertical and places in between. It can also be used left or right handed which I find myself doing a lot. In short, I really like this saw!:)
