I like this method because itis easy and quantifiable. Admittedly there is some judgment on how you handle the side dial indicator and how you read it. Not a perfect system but better than nothing.

Anyway, I find this method very helpful and thought you might find it interesting.

That's a really excellent example of why most cheap saw blades don't perform up to snuff....and there are many others. Thanks for the great visuals Tom.
