Each rings is made using 27 segments (9 groups of 3 each segments 16, 36, 48. Cut angle 11.25, 5 and 3.75). I was hoping to see more of a variation in segments in the finished product. Am going to add more variation for next. Discovered, like Jerry indicated, that segments can be replaced with primary and complimentary segments. I have in pasts used fixed sleds to cut segments and found that they can be mixed with ones cut on Jerry designed sled. As Jerry said and I am finding out the possibilities seem endless. Apple, ash and unknown wood(perhaps mahogany). Oh yes, it did break loose but no damage. Only has one coat of oil, and bottom needs finished.306699306700
