magnet and acrylic cutting at the same time am I crazy

Does anyone out there place the adhesive magnet back on the acrylic then laser cut it with a nice clean edge? Also part 2 what does everyone use to clean there acrylic off with after cutting? we use soap and water everything else seams to crack the acrylic. HELp please

If you are talking about making nametags, I laser from a sheet of stock, cut out with laser and then clean with a magic eraser and dishsoap. I then apply the magnetic backing.

I never have had to clean acrylic, I apply transfer tape to the front before cutting then peel it when done and it's good as new. Magnetic sheet does not cut cleanly even by itself, I wouldn't try to cut it after it's stuck onto the acrylic. For the cleanest edge, cut only 1/2 way then bend to break.
