Now after surviving a serious fall, breaking both shoulders I'm finally getting back on my tools.
I decided to sort out my hand tool storage, and make an English style tool chest. As, courtesy of Chris Swartz (sp ?) there seems to have been a rash of building tool chests of different styles - wall hangers , floor standers , dutch style and of course English.
Cause I'm a Brit - it had to be an English style. got the biggest tool [ stanley no 8 ] based on that I made this-
306651Box closed
306652lid open.
306653inner lid open.
306654lower tool tray shown.

Big problem, once I got my hand tools out and on my bench, I seem to have too many hand tools for this chest :o, looks like I have to
1. sell some or
2. make another tool chest  this one took me two weeks, and my right shoulder still aches from the dovetails:(, but at least I've got all my planes in one box :D

hope everyone is ok here and still making sawdust.

Can you still get the lid closed?

Plenty of room left.

Best of luck on your recovery.
(and don't jump out of any perfectly good airplanes)

Well Jim, my days of leaving perfectly working aircraft are over, but if some one offers a free jump............well who am I to refuse ;)
and yes both inner and top lids shut :D
