I don't have a bench, and I wont have a bench until I have a bigger shop. My first project after getting my table saw was building this outfeed table:

I would like to put a wood screw vice on this side on the left. The top is removable, and setting on dowels. The frame is mortise and tenon. Once I have the vice figured out I am going to put in 3 28" drawers on this side. Does any one have an examples of similar setups?

I borrowed a beall kit (http://www.bealltool.com/products/threading/) (1 1/8th) to make the screw and nut.

I have a 7" Wilton quick release vise on my outfeed table. It is on side opposite the saw, set off to the far left. Comes in very handy for a variety of projects. I'll try to get a picture later. I have shelves underneath used primarily for scrap lumber storage. I also have a small extension that is affixed with wing nuts that I use when ripping long stock. I have more clearance between the back of the table and the wall than I have between the side of the table and the wall. I'd put the vise where ever you have the most room for working.
