Colorful Box Elder

An attempt at using multiple colored dyes. This box elder burl dish is 6.5 inches across by 1.5 inches high, finished with WOP and buffed.

Nice bowl. How did you apply the color? I especially like the mermaid swimming.

Hi Brian, I just use transtint dye mixed with water and applied the different colors with a small brush. One color at a time using a different brush for each. Blue, red, yellow. I tried to follow the figure in the wood as a guide in placing the colors.
