Please advise some good vendors for the sandpaper rolls for the Delta 18 x 36 drum sander.

I usually just buy the sandpaper Delta markets and I think I've always bought the sandpaper from Tools-Plus but they don't seem to be selling Delta products anymore.

Amazon also sells the Delta sandpaper but their stock looks to be thinning out.

Thanks.

Hi Paul,
You might want to check out Klingspor's.

Buy a good brand and NOT the pre-cut ones. Klingspor is good.
Just to be sure if your drum sander suggests to get 3" or 4" or whatever, get the same width or else you could have problem lining up the ends of the paper with the clips that hold it.

Another vote for Klingspore. Their sanding strips last longer and clog much less than the Delta OEM stuff.

Paul - late to the game.

Klingspor's is where I generally go.

I have gone to 2sand as well, for off-beat wide belt sizes for work, and they were fine - but very limited experience on my end.

You can't go wrong with Klingspor's. I use them exclusively and have never been disappointed with them. I have used them for discs, rolls, sleeves, & even had them make custom sleeves for my Sand Rite balloon sander.

I buy large rolls from Industrial Abrasive and cut it to length myself.

Another vote for Industrial Abrasives. I made a jig from 1/8" hardboard to help cut it. Just traced the end of a factory wrap and wrote the length on the jig. It works fine and the price is right.
