Best of the first dozen bowls

I've started to turn bowls. This is one of the ones that didn't look like a popcorn bowl.

This Plum bowl was part of a day-long instruction session with my mentor Jack Wayne of Seattle.

I would appreciate your comments.

I LIKE it. Especially the detail at the rim. Since I'm not one who likes a lot of shine...which can make a piece look like plastic, the subdued finish is also to my liking.
