You can find 4" connectors/fittings/etc for days, but 6" seem to be nonexistant.

I'm looking to see if anyone has ever found a 6" quick connect/disconnect threaded style like here:
http://www.rockler.com/4-clamped-quick-disconnect-fitting

Or if you've built connectors, can you share what you built and how?

I know I'll have to build 6" ports for the tools using plywood and PVC but for how stuff is going to attach that's where I'm running into the issue. I've got some 6" flex hose and I want to figure out how to use it

I used a 6" duct takeoff on the machines that I converted to 6". The flex hose slipped right onto it.

If I was (and someday will) make my own quick connect fittings, they will be like these http://woodworker.com/fazlok-2-12-male-quick-disconnect-dust-fitting-mssu-146-351.asp

Those look cool but they don't go larger than 4" unfortunately.

Yep. Hence the "someday I will make" part.

Even with the Rockler ones leak. I know, I have them too. Oh the mistakes I have made before I found the 'creek.

It's very easy to make your own slip fit fittings using the thin wall 6" S&D pvc pipe, just use a heat gun to soften one end of the connection then force in the other piece stretching the heated end into a bell house end. Though I caution that when heating the pvc do so outside with good ventilation as the off gassing of the pivc is toxic when heated.
