I decided to make jig to cut thin strips on my table saw. Got it done, tested it and the thin strip fell thru my well worn ZCI . Decided to make a new ZCI , got it done and had to remove the riving knife to cut the ZCI . Screw holding the riving knife in place , an allen head is stripped. Almost impossible to get at , finally after two hours got it out, went to hardware store and bought new screw ($.65) , put it all together and it all works! Miracles do happen!:)

At least you got it done and now, you won't have problems for a while. That's why when I'm making ZCIs, I do a ton of them at once, then just hang them up until I need them. That way, I have exactly what I need, when I need it, no muss, no fuss. Best of luck cutting your strips!
