Soft close wooden gate help needed?

Like millions of other folks, I have a cedar fence with accompanying gate. Problem is, the gate keeps getting slammed so the hinges, latch hardware and wooden stop gets all jacked up. Also, the latch side of the door has drooped, however that's a easy fix with wire and turn buck.
I'm looking for some kind of soft close mechanism to keep this from happening again. Any ideas?
