I have a Harbor Freight dial indicator, and the ball tip is just too difficult to set the blade on my planer with, so in looking for a wider flat tip. I'm looking to order one, anyone recommend any brands or websites?

Search Indicator tips on Amazon.com
There are dozens to chose from.

What bruce said ... a nice big flat disc works great for setting blades.

I got mine from ebay. If you search you'll see that quite a few places sell the same set, in a little square red plastic case. The prices for the same set range quite a bit. I think I paid $12 or so.

Enco is where I got my set. Just screw the tip off, and you already have a flat tip. Zero cost. Just don't lose tip, or you will have to buy a set.
