Grammercy Carcass Saws

About 1 minute ago I ordered the Grammercy 12" carcass saws in xcut and rip. Now I have to wait a week or so to get them. It took me a long time and a lot of reading to decide on the Grammercy. The problem is that all the carcass saws I looked at were highly desirable. It was very difficult to make the final decision. What I really wanted to do was buy them all. However I am still waiting for that magic lottery number. When they come in, and I have had a chance to use them I will write up a mini review from the prospective of a mid level amateur user. i.e. neither a beginner nor a greatly experienced professional. I have been doing hand tool furniture building for about 4-5 years.

I recently bought the sash saw, my choice was easy as it's the only high end saw available in Israel , all I can say is I'm sure you will love them. Congrats !

I also just recently got the crosscut one. I sort of like it better than Veritas one, I think it fits my hand a bit better.

I sharpened my Veritas and next day sawed straight through the tiny metal pin in the scrap wood:( Since Gramercy is so nice I have not felt like resharpening and testing them side by side.
