Finishing Sander

Okay, my Dewalt 411 1/4 sheet palm sander recently bit the bullet. Not sure why, I was in the middle or a project and it started smoking. So, I'm trying to decide what kind I should get now to replace it. My experience has been with Dewalt and Porter-Cable, been happy with both other then the Dewalt sander. But I've never used a Porter-Cable sander... What are you opinions?

Look at the PC ROS. They make two, one is VS. The other thing you may want to look at Festool. I use the PC ROS and really like it but some folks have had problems with the newer version.

I have two 5" ROS's -- the PC 334 and Ryobi. I use both of them routinely. The PC seems a little more aggressive. Dust collection is decent on both.
