A continuation from my prior post.
Well my bowl continued to "move" and in the process developed an alarming large crack. It's such a pretty piece and I wasn't wanting to pitch it into the burnpile. I looked at it and decided to use a lot of CA into the crack, let it dry and then filled it with turquoise. That was the easy part. Next I chucked it up gingerly since all I left was a recess and brought the tailstock up to help stabilize since it was going to wobble. I let it run for a bit then sanded it back down, got the finish on and gave thanks for being able to do it.
