I recently got a box of 2x2" corian color samples from a member of the
IAP... more colors than I know what to do with... I don't make corian
pens and bought it to play with cabochons for my stoppers...
Here is the first one I did...
I cut the 2x2 to 1x1's and mounted it one a small waste block with
some CA.. turned it to 3/4" dia and shaped the top, polished it and
parted it off with enough left over to do another cabochon... even if
I screw it up, I should get 4 out of a 2x2... and the only bad part is
that I have soooo many colors I have to figure out which one will go
with which piece of wood...
Stopper is Stabilized Buckeye Burl from Arizona Silhouette... sweet
stuff...
