I got a Primo Oval XL for Christmas and am going to build a table for it. I started out looking at either cypress or western red cedar but am now thinking eastern/aromatic red cedar. What's your thoughts on this? This grill probably weighs 300-350 pounds, and I want to make sure what I build can hold it up and last quite a while.

I just posted my grill cart construction here: Linky (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?226353-New-Home-for-my-Primo-Grill&p=2362368#post2362368)

I was going to use a different hardwood instead of the popular red cedar but the wood supplied was too wet to work with so I ended up using cedar. Actually glad I did it looks great with the black ceramic grill on it.

I used Cypress for mine and it's still going strong 6 years later.
