This is $40 today. It gets good reviews, but they are not us.
Anyone tried it?

I don't usually bother with a CC blade (in fact, I haven't owned one in a few years), but have been thinking it might not be a bad idea.

I always had good luck with my Freud blades when I used them and for $40 I am tempted to just grab one for a spare.

Yeah, I didn't even notice it was a Freud until i came back to read postings. I wonder if they somehow cheapen it up.

Looks like the LU73M010 that sells for ~$58 - $69 elsewhere. Could be made to lower specs to meet Rocklers desired price point.

I haven't tried that particular model, but it's got all the right stuff....Hi-ATB grind, large carbide, quality manufacturer, full kerf, made in Italy "by Freud". It looks a bit like a cross between their 80T LU80 Hi-ATB and the 60T LU73 cabinet makers blade....tooth count and hook angle from the LU73, and the Hi-ATB top grind from the LU80. That's a great price for a blade of that level.

I don't need another blade.....must resist, must resist!

Remember that Freud was bought by Bosch a couple years back, so it could be from any of their lines, just made to Rockler's specs.

To my eye, it looks more like a dead ringer for the Freud LU82M010 - look at the expansion/vibration slots at the periphery and within the body of the blade. Amazon sell it for $40.00, BTW.

Those slots are classic Freud for sure, and it's got the same hook angle as the LU82, but the LU82 uses a triple chip grind (TCG). The Rockler/Freud blade has a Hi-ATB grind.

I tired to get one today but they were sold out.

Looks like a good cheap option for some cuts. It's not a ww2 but I'll try it for shop furniture
