I have air assist on in the JC software. Is there a way to tell if the air assist is actually working? I am having a hard time telling if there is air coming out of the nose cone.

Thanks for any help.

Hold the shift and Fan button down on the machine with the lid open, and you can reach in and feel or hear it running. If that's working, and you have it on for that color, then it's working. If you don't feel it coming out or hear it hissing, you need to find the compressor and back the adjustment screw out to turn up the pressure.

To turn it off, just hold the shift and Fan button down again and it should turn off.

Start a sample job with very low power and low speed, pause the job once it starts running. You should be able to hear a slight whistle of air from the nosecone as well as feel it. You should also be able to hear the compressor running, on the Speedy 300's it's located in the right-side service panel towards the front of the machine, very quiet and fast *thump-thump* just like an airbrush compressor.

Thanks Steve, this did it. Thank you very much. It was turned off by mistake yesterday...

Btw Tracy was singing your praises yesterday when he was here.
