This is what a slow business period makes you do :D

Idea seen on the internet for a CNC - so I dreamed up the basic premise and modified it a bit for laser production - currently on version #2 (shown)

100% laser-made parts, with a hand powered mech. I'm about 95% done (as shown) with this build and have some tweeks to make it spin better, have less hangups with the carts, and a better looking 'crank handle'

some specs - 14" wheels, 2" spacing between wheels, and 16.5" tall

100% 3mm baltic birch - using many stains though :P

the driveshaft - circle parts (near top) spin freely in stands, hexagon pieces connect to wheels

That is incredible!!!! I can see some little eyes light up when seeing and playing with something like this!!! Great job and great imagination!!
