They are Jorgensen style 21

I cannot find anything about them on the googlenet

Anyone know what they are for ?

If you had a few of them, you could clamp up two panels back to back.

I have never seen anything like that, but it looks like it could be used to laminate two sets of wide boards. If you had lots of tabletops to glue up you could make a tower of these possibly saving space?
Just a wild guess...

Yeah to all above. Never seen anything made like that,but there used to be a lot of clamps for commercial use.Clamp wheels etc. I think before the advent of plywood and MDFs that they were probably used to glue up panels that had standard lengths ,but not widths. Then you just ripped off the widths needed. I have kept panels for doors glued up at times myself, excellent way to get the foreman to dislike you.

there off a rotatory clamp set up. You can see the nut for power thread drive and you can see you use them 2 sided

oh I got 6 of them, so I will be using them for glue-ups, dang things are a bit heavy but I don't mind

Wow what a monster. Thought it was part of an automated clamp set up of some sort but was not thinking about anything that size. What an amazing tool.

You could also clamp them to your workbench and then clamp something to be worked on in them.
