Redoing the furniture in my TV room. This G&G end table is the first of four pieces. I completed it about three months ago. Used plans from Darrell Peart. Used curly walnut vise the typical mahogany. Wify likes walnut. I did not take many construction photos. This was my first attempt at breadboards. The ebany plugs were time consuming and well worth the effort in my opinon. The only deviation from the plans is the 1/8" round over on the individual slats that make up the top. The top came from two boards that I ripped, did a 1/8" round over and glued back together. I think it came out ok. Wife and daughter seam to like.

Nice twist on a pretty piece. I am a strong subscriber to the saying; if its worth making, its worth making out of walnut. Interesting idea on the top being ripped and reassembled. I'm also a fan of the Blacker House leg detail and have it on my current nightstands. A beautiful piece and I look forward to seeing the rest of them.
