i have built a dp table & put one coat of blo. i need to know if i need to put any more finish on it to make more durable. any help will be welcomed:confused:

IMHO, no, you don't need any more finish and the BLO is renewable once the table gets scratched, etc. "Durable" is a relative term that five people will have six different definitions about!
Very nice DP table, BTW. Mine is similar but not as nice looking... ;)

Nice lookin' accessory for your drill press, Tom! By the way, what method did you use to flatten the top?

Very nice table. I have a crude table just like it; design only. Unfinished Birch Ply!

thanks jim, that's the info i was looking for.;)
steve the boards wer 12'' wide. i run them through the planer & the glued them togather & cut them to the size i wanted.:)

FANTASTIC utilization of your scraps, tom! you've just given me a great idea on what to do with them besides saving them up for kindling!
