Planer Dust Port Size Increase Question

Hi Guys,

I have searched all over but can't find anything on increasing the dust port on my Jet 15" planer. I am running dust collection throughout my shop and want to run 6" main down to the planer but I don't know how I would customize the port on the tool.

i'm looking to install a 6" port onto my planer. I would like to see examples of what others have done. I will also be considering installing a second 4" port on the top since that is the only thing that I can think of.

Let me know what you guys have done or seen done.

I have adapted some machines to 6", as 4" was really not enough, latest was my edge sander, but my 15" planer, Grizzly G0453, was designed so well for dust collection, I just left the 4" alone, and put a 4 to 6 adapter on it.
