Looking for some black screw eyes / eye screws to hang a piece of stained glass from the ceiling. I have googled and am not finding anything. I know I could paint them but I preferred either a black oxide or black powder coated screw eyes.
Anyone have any ideas for a source?
Thanks

Will eye bolts do?

Thanks for the response George. Probably a little heavier duty than would look good in my application.

Then your options are limited to either heavy duty, or a large eye.

If you have a plumbers propane torch, you can blacken steel screws by heating them to cherry red. I do it all the time. Works with stainless as well. Also brass plated ones.

May give this a try. How durable is the blackening? My application will not see much abuse.

Just spray a clear coat of something, or even clear finger nail polish.

McMaster Carr has these. You would have to blacken them.
