Where to buy lumber/plywood in Columbia, MD

Any seasoned vets here have a recommendation on where to buy lumber and plywood near Columbia or Laurel, Maryland areas?

I'm in Northern Virginia, and usually go to Northland Forest Products out in Manassas, VA. They will also deliver to me if I'm buying a lot of BB Ply. I'm not familiar with what lies north and east of you and whether there are other possibilities. Hicksville Planing also gets a lot of good reviews here, although I've never been--see the second post in this thread: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?197023-where-to-get-rough-cut-lumber&highlight=hicksville. If you want a little longer trip, there's always Hearne Hardwoods in Oxford, PA--http://www.hearnehardwoods.com/.

Just add to Eric post - EcoFriendly lumber in Cathaprin, VA ( google it). Another good place - CP Johnson lumber in Elkwood.
I visited Hicksville a few times - very nice people and best prices in this area. I do live in Manassas, Northland Forest Products in 1 mile from my home - :eek:unfortunately:D. They don't keep exotic but regular lumber - no problem. From all places - Hicksville will be your closest choice. They don't have internet site and reaching them by phone could be difficult. I used to live in northern Baltimore, and i bought from two places: World of Hardwoods in Linthicum, MD, and Freestate Timbers in Timonium, MD. They both have websites. I found the selection much better and the owners nicer to deal with at Freestate Timbers. World of Hardwoods was ok, but smaller and limited stock (though quite a variety of imported lumber if you like that).
