Looking mighty fine, although that bed is kinda short for a woodworker.

Is that one of the diesels?

My son just bought the same truck. His has the hemi and he brags about gas mileage--he thinks 16 is good.

Anyway, it's all I can do to get up into the thing. He refuses to buy running boards.

Thanks, We've needed a new vehicle for about a year. I am in an electric wheelchair and had an exterior lift on the back of our Grand Cherokee. At first we were looking at SUV's again, but most are Crossover's now, built on a car chassis. They just wouldn't carry the load. The lift tongue slides into a class III hitch receiver so the lift itself actually projects 4' from the back of the truck. Since the lift itself weighs well over 100lbs and my chair is pushing 200lbs, that is a pretty large load to be cantilevered off the back. But the truck actually carries the load easily.

Yes George, that's a 95 Bird. We bought it for our daughter to go back and forth to college. Believe it or not, we got it literally from a little old lady that just used it to go back and forth to church and her doctor. It's up for sale...

The bed is 5'7" and since I can't really handle wood more that 8' by myself, it should work just fine. To get the next longer bed (6'3" I believe) you have to jump up to the next trim level. $$$ It's the V6, but it has a 8 speed automatic which puts a surprising amount of power to the street.

Running Boards were a must! This sucker is TALL! Even with them, it's all I can do to transfer from my chair.

Hey!!! I got it to fit in the garage! But just barely. The lift sticks out about another 2' past the back end. That puts the front bumper is less than a foot shy of the furnace.

hey in that truck with a Hemi - 16 is great! LOL

my sister in law has the same truck (long cab, short bed) with the V6 and they drive it a lot. Gets good mileage (for a truck) and plenty of room for the kids.

I love the color.

16??? Egads, I get 19-21 in my 3/4 ton duramax diesel! He wouldn't happen to have a heavy right foot maybe?
