My brother in law is a pretty darn good carver. He does things like decoys and other bird type carvings. He lives on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake bay.
We recently moved to the Wilmington, NC area. He asked if I could locate a bunch of tupelo stumps for decoy carving in this area. After scouting around I have had no luck, but then I do not know my way around here very well yet, as in, who has those odd things a person needs.
So, if anyone could point me in the right direction within a reasonable drive of Wilmington, NC, I would really appreciate it.
My bro in law is a really good guy and I would like to help him out.
