I am starting to accumulate a decent library but I am sure I am missing good ones too. I am hoping others will post their favorites. I particularly like videos as the opportunity to see guys like Kingshott and Klausz actually demonstrate their techniques seems to me to eclipse words and still pictures.
Video/DVD
Chisel Techniques for Precision Joinery (David Charlesworth)
Build the 21st Century Workbench (Robert W. Lang)
Dovetail a Drawer (Frank Klausz)
Dovetails (Jim Kingshott)
Mortise & Tenon ((Jim Kingshott)
Carving Swedish Woodenware (Jogge Sundqvist)
The Workbench (Christopher Schwarz)
Coarse Medium & Fine (Christopher Schwarz)
Hand Tools, Tuning and Using Chisles, Planes and Saws (Frank Klausz)
SketchUp, Guide for Woodworkers The Basics (Dave Richards)
The Joinery Challenge (Ron Herman)
Hand Saw Sharpening (Tom Law)
Side Sharpening (a pre production copy by Harrelson Stanley)
Handsaws, Tune-up, Setup & More (Ron Herman)
This turned out to be a larger project than I thought. It seems my wife and kids have developed the nasty habit of hiding certain videos they find particularly onerous. I will work on a list of books too. Maybe this will get us started. I am especially interested in videos demonstrating planing techniques. Schwarz's Coarse, Medium & Fine is a good intro but I am looking for more hands on detail.
