My 6" jointer blades are in need of sharpening, but I thought I would like to try to sharpen them myself. Has anybody in the Creek tried the Veritas jointer blade sharpening guide? If so, what did you think of it? Is it worth the $40+ bucks? I do have other home-made options, but would welcome suggestions--other than a professional sharpening service.
