In answer to Mike Audleman's query (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?224367-Make-a-Box-Finger-box-maker&p=2344847#post2344847) about a jigsaw generator for laser cutting, Lawrence Kesteloot has created a Python program for making a jigsaw from .svg files.
It's in the public domain and you can download it here (http://www.teamten.com/lawrence/projects/jigsaw-puzzle-on-laser-cutter/).
He actually modified it to generate separate pieces. I wanted this so I could make a BIG one - about 6 feet square with each piece around 10".
His original version cuts it all in one piece.
There's pictures on his page.
I have an Illustrator file if anyone wants it.
