For those who have sprayed general finishes milk paint through an HVLP gun were you able to thin just with water or did you use their reducer?

The reducer is designed to extend dry time, not usually what you want when spraying. The manufacturer says to thin with UP TO 10% water. Remember the General Finishes product is not milk paint, it is a waterborne acyrlic with colors chosen to look like milk paint. Real Milk Paint is much more durable.
