I never thout I'd have much interest in natural edged bowls. I like traditionally shaped, regular bowls. But I went for it anyway, and it was really fun to turn!

I left left a small foot on it to raise it off the table just a bit.
i also made a youtube video documenting the major error I committed as I went through this:

The order in which you do things matters! Check that the top edges of your bowl are in line before forming the tenon for the chuck, otherwise when you adjust it, your tenon will be off-centered, and you'll end up cutting it off and making a new one, basically shortening the height of your bowl by a quarter inch or more. (Check out the video if that explanation didn't make sense...)
