I received the following email message this morning;
Dear Mr. Rod Torgeson,
Many thanks for your thoughtfulness and efforts to raise the spirits of soldiers like myself with the gift of a monogrammed wooden pen. It's beautiful. They joke among my section that I am a "pen" man rather than a computer nerd and they are right. The feel of a fine writing instrument inspires and allows me the maximum ability to think. Key strokes don't do it.
The pens you are producing for our other chaplains are spreading the grace. Thank God we have folks like yourself who care and remember us who serve from afar. God bless you and your efforts on behalf of all our servicemen.
