I have a Freud Dado blade set that I bought used but have never used, my woodshop is pretty damp and it has some rust on it, is it ok? I have some evapo rust I can use to remove it.

I'd throw it into the evaporust. Nothing to lose at this point. Dave

It's fine, just clean it and go on. I keep bit-n-blade with a toothbrush taped to the side of it. Hit the blade good let it set in a piepan and hit it with a little schotchbrite pad and she's good to go.

...and give it a coat of paste wax after it's been cleaned and fully dried.

From the picture, I'd be surprised if this is more than no-big-deal surface rust. I'd just give it a cleaning with scotchbrite and something like WD-40.

only downside to just using without cleaning is the rust will stain whatever you use the blade on till it all gets worn off
