Found a few goodies this past week. Got a 26" 9 point Winchester crosscut complete with the nib for $4.50. Found a 12" Disston #4 with a roached plate for $3, currently have a plate oredered through Blackburn tools, total cost for saw will be $27. A Stanley #5 type 12 for $7. And the best for last an Ohio Tools #104 Plow plane, solid rosewood, a 1/2" iron. It is missing the two outside nuts, but I think I can make some of those.

Nice find.
Can you post a close up of the medallion on the Winchester saw?
Some collectors go nuts for anything with the Winchester name on it.

I have to do some thinking on how to to make a matching tap but once I get that figured out getting the plow going again will be a piece of cake.
Jim, I was surprised to find the Winchester etch under the surface rust, the medallion is a WS eagle medallion, nothing fancy. I have not seen a similar saw before. It is a number 13.

Thanks for the information. I was hoping it was a Winchester medallion.
The foundry making those WS medallions must have gotten rich. It seems every saw maker used them.
