I'm sneaking in from the Engraver's forum. Ssssshhh... don't tell.

I picked up a couple of things from Craigslist today and one was a scroll saw.
I saw the pics a few months ago and passed on it because he couldn't provide
a brand name or model number. It came back up for sale cheap enough to buy
it.. but I can't find a name anywhere except on the motor (Fasco)

It seems well built, runs very smooth. Steel legs and base, open aluminum arms,
no bellows but someone had hooked up an aquarium pump for the air. The
tension adjustments are thumbwheels, not a camover. 16 inch throat, 45° tilt
to either side, gooseneck light threaded into the table body.

If it were bright red, this would be a no brainer. But it's blue. Has all the same
stickers on it as an RBI, Made In Usa, Patent Pending etc. but no name plate.
Is this perhaps an early model? A knockoff? If someone faked an RBI, they
spent a lot of money to do it. But at $100 I couldn't really pass it up. (yeah, that
16" part isn't my favorite)

Has anyone else run across one of these? I've tried search engines for the last
few days to no avail..

ps... Tomorrow I'll have enough energy to take it out of the back of the truck
and snap a few pics. But for now, picture a 16" Hawk and color it blue..

here's a couple of pics...
a bit more beat up than what I saw in a dark garage, but
I plan on sandblasting and painting it and maybe adding
some parts. (new light, bellows, blade holder?)
