The overall height is about 15 inches.
The bronze is at least 150 years old and part of a badly damaged FABULOUS ormolu candelabra. I have several more pieces of this candelabra that I will use as I make the time.
I have included pictures of the inside and the bottom so you can see the details.

Well done, George! The form compliments the ornate bronze base and you have done a service by repurposing the candelabra. Extra nice work on the rosewood addition on the bottom.

Excellent. I love to see nice old pieces 'rescued' and incorporated into something new. Quality ornate castings seem to be a thing of the past. As John says, the form compliments the base well and adding the rosewood to the base helps tie it into a complete composition.

Outstanding work. The focus on detail is evident and so well placed. The contrast between the brass and wood make an exceptional piece. Takes for sharing.

Ditto what everyone else said! Very nice. Nice clean lines, perfect finish, and I agree with the others that the base is a nice touch and ties it all together.

How did you attach the urn to the brass? Is it just epoxied in place?
