I am looking for a hinge that can separated by simply lifting the door. I don't know what to call it so I haven't had much success in finding one. Anyone out there know what I am talking about and maybe have a source? Thanks guys.

I used the ones on the Armoire that Hal references...of course, I have a design boo-boo that prevents me from lifting off the doors anyway. Sheesh!! ;) At any rate, the hinges are well made and work as advertised if you can actually lift the doors...

Jim, there are never design mistakes, I believe you were probably just concerned that your door may get misplaced and decided to correct the hinge manufacturers mistake.
