Hi All,

I am much in trouble:( ....

I have purchased a fir crude closet and I wish to finish it with natural stuff like shellac/oil and wax.
I tried in a hidden part with two coats of shellac and beewax. But before of wax I saw that some parts have a more light zones.
I think it is by an sanding uneven:confused: which has uncovered the natural fir.
Therefore I could think to do the finish with one coat of water aniline to dark the fir, some coats of shellac and beewax.

What do you think about it..

Any advices will be welcome

David, I think to have understood that "drain cleener" is the stuff to clean the kitchen sink pipe, isn't it?

Yes, that is the stuff. You mix the liquid drain cleaner 1/2 and 1/2 with water.
Do not use the powder drain cleaner, only the liquid. Ware gloves and eye protection.
