I know this is asked a bunch I'm sure, but would $40 be an okay price for a mint cond LA 65 be too much? :confused:
This little plane is like new cond. Looks to be built in the '40s to '50s era.:confused:

Waaay overpriced. Ummmm... you didn't happen to mention in your post where this plane could be purchased :rolleyes: .

Isn't there a law against buying a #65 at that price?
Oh hell, I better say it ... my #65 plus Hock blade leaves my LN #60-1/2 for dust! Have I let the cat out the bag?

In newish condition, it is underpriced for its value.....a rarity these days it seems. You might consider taking the savings and buying a superior aftermarket iron. I have two 65's. These are the best of the vintage LA blocks, IMO.
