try this program:

it's plugin for adobe illustrator
save your image format B/W or color "TIFF" in photoshop, import the TIFF image in illustrator and just run the plugin.

Unfortunately I do not have adobe illustrator. However after reading about it on the site of my original post, I intend to get it.
