Does the Bosch Colt base fit the PC brass Template Guides? I don't have the Colt yet, but I know Bosch makes everything, so I was hoping that I could use my inlay kit with the Colt. It makes great patches and it would be nice to be able to use it with the Colt.

There is a round base that accepts standard PC template guides. At the time I got mine this was not available and I have a Pat Warner base which is great.

Pat makes bases for all routers. I have his bases on my Colt and my Dewalt routers.

His products are absolutely top drawer.

I have the round base from Bosch you are referring to.
The hole in it fits template guides perfectly, but the base itself is not perfectly flat, which will cause it to wobble some when using it.
I sanded mine flat by rubbing it on abrasive paper attached to a hard, flat surface. You might want to read the reviews at Amazon:

Pat Warner's round base is flat and fits the PC template guides.

I just got the colt plunge base, which I assume you might want for inlays, and it looks like it accepts bosch's template guide system, which does have available an insert to hold PC template guides. I like the bosch system because it gives you a bigger hole in the base for regular operations (not so critical on the colt regarding bit size, but visibility is better), the template guide pops in pretty quick. It is a lot of parts to keep track of, but it works well.

A router base is a pretty simple project. Once mastered the skills can help with precision woodworking.

One of a few I made for my Colt. This one does take the PC inserts.
