Klean-Strip Green PT and MS

I understand that the odor causing components of paint thinner and mineral spirits are refined out for the "green" or "odorless" products, but what have they put back in? Specifically, in both Klean-Strip Safer Paint Thinner and Klean-Strip Odorless Mineral Spirits, there is a white substance that settles out rather quickly.

I have no clue what the white stuff is, but IMO the smell is worse than "real" MS. Worse than that, it is completely unsuitable for most any wood working purpose. Fortunately, I can still buy the real stuff some places, like my local ACE Hardware. HD, on the other hand, only carries the "green" stuff in gallons.
