I build cedar outdoor furniture in conn. It's kinda pricey here and I'm trying to find a small mill for native lumber,
That's a reasonable distance from were I live. I can drive 8 hours up to maine and get it dirt cheap but unless I get a couple skids it's not really worth it . for a pickup truck full a 3 or 4 hr drive won't kill me on transport and gas . I only need about 50-80 boards at a time . The Internet only really list wholesalers or specialty places that only do a couple pcs at a time and charge a premium to ship if anybody could clue me in on anyplace either in southern main, vermont, newhampshire, or eastern new York, newjersey
