I updated to 8.0.2

Haven't noticed any problems yet. As far as advantages I figured the upgrade was just bug corrections based on the new operating system or possibly conflicts with some apps. I try to keep my apple devices up to date with every upgrade.

Didn't Apple pull the iOS 8 update due to problems?

No issues so far. I do like the fact that there is an "auto suggest" rather than "auto fill" selection for typing. Never texted fast enough to make use of the auto-fill but I can select thw word now in a separate dialog box, which is nice.

They pulled IOS 8.01 and replaced it with IOS 8.02.

I upgraded my iPad 2 first to iOS 8.0.0 and later to 8.0.2 with zero issues.

I upgraded today, everything works fine, but why did they have to move the favorites icon from the right side of the page to the Left? Thanks for the responses

Who knows why Apple does anything? People are complaining about all the extra apps that Apple added that can't be removed too.

I had issues with my Gmail notifications not working with IOS 8, but they seem to be working again after messing with it for quite a while.
